A win over Finland

The youth team of Belarus, composed of football players born not earlier than 2003, beat Finland in the second match of the «Development Cup 2020».

In the first half of the meeting, the spectators gathered in the Minsk football covered hall did not see any goals, although both teams had promising moments. During the break, Andrey Skorobogatko made two substitutions, and the Belarusians went on the attack literally immediately after the referee's whistle. Niklas Pyyhtia scored from the penalty spot. Fortunately it took the «white wings» only three minutes to take the lead again. The decisive goal was scored by team captain Kirill Zinovich, who shot tightly into the near corner from the edge of the penalty box.

Thus, the youth team of Belarus will play for a ticket to the final of the «Development Cup 2020» with the youth team of Belgium.
