National team arrives in Dubai

Belarus main football team flew to Dubai, where on February 23 it will have an international friendly match against Uzbekistan.

This afternoon, the Embraer E 175 of Belavia Airlines flew out from Minsk and traveled to Dubai via Antalya. The flight to Turkey took a little more than two hours. On this part of a trip only 2 players - forward of the Soligorsk Shakhtar Vitaly Lisakovich and midfielder of the Portuguese Vilafrankenese Nikita Korzun were on board. In Turkey, the remaining sixteen players, called up for the first match, boarded the plane, after which the national team in full squad flew to the United Arab Emirates. The flight from Antalya to Dubai took three hours and twenty minutes, and after passing visa control, the "White Winged" headed to the place of accomodation.

The national team of Belarus stayed at the Jood Palace hotel located in the city limits.

18 players are preparing for the first of two planned friendly matches:

Goalkeepers: Pavel Pavlyuchenko ("Dynamo Brest"), Yegor Hatkevich ("Isloch", Minsk region).

Defenders: Sergey Politevich, Sergey Matveychik, Igor Burko (all - "Shakhtar", Salihorsk), Alexander Pavlovets ("Dynamo Brest"), Maxim Shvetsov ("Dynamo Minsk"), Sergey Karpovich ("Isloch", Minsk region).

Midfielders: Stanislav Dragun, Igor Stasevich, Pavel Nekhaychik (all - "BATE", Borisov), Nikita Korzun ("Vilafrankenes", Portugal), Yuri Kendysh, Dmitry Podstrelov (both "Shakhtar", Salihorsk), Ivan Bakhar ("Dynamo Minsk"), Sergey Volkov ("Vitebsk").

Forwards: Denis Laptev ("Dynamo Brest"), Vitaly Lisakovich ("Shakhtar", Salihorsk).

For the next three days, our team will intensively prepare for the upcoming sparring, and on February 23 at 17:00 local time at the Al Hamria stadium in Sharjah will play a friendly match against the national team of Uzbekistan.
