First place in the group

The youth team of Belarus, composed of football players born not earlier than 2003, failed to find a winner with Belgium in the last match of the «Development Cup 2020» group stage. The draw allowed the «white wings» to finish first in their group due to a better goal difference.

Andrei Skorobogatka’s team went on the attack from the first minutes and scored the fastest goal of the tournament. Yegor Shedko recorded his name on the scoreboard after bursting into the penalty area and sending the ball low to the right bottom of the opponents goal with the outside of his legs. In eight minutes the Belgians managed to equalize and the score did not change untill the final whistle. Thus, the «white wings» completed the group stage in first place in group A.
