National A-team call-ups

Mikhail Markhel announced the final list of players for the international friendly matches against Uzbekistan and Bulgaria.

The players are called up from February 19th untill February 27th. On February 19th, the Belarusian national team will leave for the United Arab Emirates were the first friendly game will take place. The match against Uzbekistan will be held at «Al Hamriyah» stadium in Sharjah and will start at 16.00 Belarus time. Later on on February 24th the «White Wings» will take off for Bulgaria. The friendly match against Bulgaria on February 26th will be held at «Vasil Levski» national stadium in Sofia and the kick-off time is 18.00 Belarus time.

The Head Coach included 26 players into the final list for the upcoming matches:

Goalkeepers: Aleksandr Gutor («Shakhter», Soligorsk), Pavel Pavlichenko («Dinamo-Brest»), *Maksim Plotnikov («Dinamo-Minsk»).

Defenders: Sergei Politevich, Sergei Matveichik, Igor Burko (all - «Shakhter», Soligorsk) Aleksandr Pavlovets, *Kirill Pechenin (both - «Dinamo-Brest»), Zakhar Volkov (BATE, Borisov), *Maksim Shvetsov («Dinamo-Minsk»).

Midfielders: Stanislav Dragun, Igor Stasevich, Pavel Nekhaichik, *Yevgeni Yablonski (all - BATE, Borisov), Mikhail Gordeichuk, *Yevgeni Shevchenko, RomanYuzepchuk (all - «Dinamo-Brest»), Nikita Korzun («Vilafranquense») Yuri Kendysh, Dmitri Podstrelov (both - «Shakhter», Soligorsk), Ivan Bakhar, *Vladislav Klimovich (both - «Dinamo-Minsk»).

Forwards: Denis Laptev, *Vsevolod Sadovski (both - «Dinamo-Brest»), Maksim Skavysh (BATE, Borisov), Vitali Lisakovich («Shakhter», Soligorsk).

* Players will join the national team on February 24th and will prepare for the friendly match against Bulgaria.

The training camp of the main team of the country will take place during non-fixed FIFA dates, therefore, players who are from clubs of the Russian Premier League and Kazakh Premier League do not take part in it.

We remind you that Belarus national team is preparing for the play-offs of the UEFA 2020 European Championship. The away match against Georgia will be held in Tbilisi on March 26th.
