Confident start in the EURO-2021 qualification

The national women's team beat Faroe Islands 6:0 in their first UEFA Europena championship 2021 qualifying match.

Yuri Maleev side achieved a comfortable win in their debut at «Borisov-Arena». The «white wings» took the initiative from the start and opened the score early. Karina Olkhovik and Anastacia-Grazhina Scherbachenia put their names on the scoresheet in the first half. After the break the game disposition did not change and Olkhovik and Scherbachenia scored to make it a double for each and increase the gap. Later on two goals also came from Anastacia Kharlanova who came on from the bench and scored from a penalty and after a corner kick.

Belarus will play the next qualifying matches on October 4th and 8th against Norway and Wales. Both games will be held at «Borisov-Arena». 

Association «Belarusian Football Federation» President Vladimir Bazanov and Association «Belarusian Football Federation» Vice-president Mikhail Vergeenko were both present at the match.
