Estonia - Belarus. Victory at last

The «White Wings» won in Tallinn.

Both teams were active in the first half, but the spectators did not witness any goals in the first 45 minutes. As it turned out the teams saved all goals for the second half.

In the very beginning of the second half Nikita Naumov scored his first goal for the «white wings». The defender headed home after a corner kick delivered by Igor Stasevich. Unfortunately in 5 minutes Sorga equaled the score converting from a low cross from Kait. The Belarusian did not agree with the scoreline and put a lot of effort in order to get the victory. The «white wings» had a couple of great attacks but the ball just did'nt go into Lempets'. The ball hit the woodwork on several occasions. 

Fortune smiled at Belarus in stopage time. Maksim Skavysh slided after a pass from the right wing to earn Belarus the first win in the European Qualifiers for the UEFA European Championship 2020.

Ivan Bakhar and Yegeni Yablonski both made their debut for the «white wings». Sergei Politevich and Ivan Maevski recoreded their 30 fixtures for the national team while Stanislav Dragun got his 60th cap.
