Wales - Belarus. Minimal defeat
The «White Wings» suffered a loss in Cardiff.
The hoosts as the favourites started the match in a more active manner and took the territory advantage. The Belarusians defeneded well and did not forget to counterattack when they had the opportunity. On the 17th minute one of such attempts up in front did not go well for the «white wings» and the Welsh team converted the opportunitay with a nice shot from James. After the goal the game din't change much and Wales continued to attack, but the belarusians did not allow to create serious danger near Maksim Plotnikov's goal.
After the break the «White Wings» started playing actively and trying to respond with more pace. Unfortunatelly out team failed to convert the amount of attacks into the a goal and the gaem ended with a 0:1 defeat.
Maksim Skavysh recoreded his 15th cap for the naional team. Maksim Plotnikov, Zakhar Volkov, Nikolai Zolotov, Max Ebong and Kirill Pechenin all made their debut for the Belarusian side.
