Belarus U-17 team qualified for the elite round

Belarus youth team, consisting of players not older than 2003 year of birth, will play in the elite round of the championship of the continent in its age category.

In the tournament that took place in Minsk, our players tied with the Hungarians, lost to the Serbs, beat Latvia and took the final 3rd place in the group.

According to the regulations, the two strongest teams of each group and the four best teams, who took third places (based on the results of meetings with two leaders of their group), enter the elite round.

Today it became known that our team guaranteed itself a place among the four best teams, among those who took third places, and in March 2020 will play in the elite round of the continent's championship in its age category.

The winners of eight elite round groups and the seven best second teams (based on matches from the first and third teams of their group) will make it to the final stage. Estonia will also take part in the tournament in May 2020 as hosts.
