Mikhail Markhel: «Commitment was at a high level»

The head coach of the national team of Belarus summed up the results of a friendly match
against Bulgaria.

- It's nice to win, especially away. We haven’t won for a long time. Therefore, these games are
important on a psychological level. The guys felt that they can win and play at a good level.
Today's match proved that we have good youth. I am grateful to the guys for being inspired and playing well.

At the beginning of the game, thrill was felt among the young guys. Did you feel it
from the edge?

- Naturally, it was a little thrilling, as well as to them. However, this is an experience.
The game was planned for this - so that the guys feel that we are watching them and they are our
future. Therefore, I am pleased with how they passed the exam.

A game without missed goals. How can you evaluate the defending line?

- Despite the fact that together we had only one training session, our defend looked decent and their commitment
was at a high level. This once again proves that the lack of skill can always be offset by
dedication and desire, the correct performance of the installation.

What did you say tithe guys at the end of the camp? Did you advised someone personally?

- No, I did’t advise anyone personally. Just thanked them for the game and dedication. This is an
important stage in their life, many players had their debut in the national team. It was extremely
necessary for them to smell thisspirit, if we rely on them in the future. The training camp was a
success.

It is a month before the match with Georgia. Has this training added new names to your
list?

- Surely. But I will not voice them. We will look after some of the guys who played today. If
there are no injuries, we will call them to another training.
