Bulgaria - Belarus. Away victory
The ''white-winged" had a guest match in Sofia.
The main hero at the beginning of the match was Egor Khatkevich. The debutant of the team rescued the goal three times in the first 10 minutes and did not allow the Bulgarians to score a quick goal. The guests took their scoring chances more carefully and turned one of the first chances into a goal. Vitali Lisakovich played great near the penalty box, and then the ball bounced to Dmitri Podstrelov, whose shot opened the score in the match. After a goal was scored, the game calmed down a bit and the tempo rised only at the end of the half, when the hosts held two dangerous attacks. Once again, Egor Khatkevich played above all praise.
After the break the game did not change significantly: the hosts, although possessing a territorial advantage, had almost no scoring chances. One of the most promising opportunities for the Bulgarians happened in the 70th minute - the ball, after a shot by Milanov, flew a few centimeters above the crossbar. Belarusians could make the outcome of the game clear 3 minutes later. A counterattack 3 on 2 ended with a powerful shot from Dmitri Podstrelov from a slaughter position. Unfortunately, the striker wasn't lucky to score a second goal in the second match for the “white-winged”.
The final whistle signalized a minimum victory for Belarus 0:1.
In addition to Egor Khatkevich, this was a debut match in a national team for Alexander Pozniak, Mikita Stsiapanau, Sergei Volkov, Roman Vegeria and Roman Yuzepchuk.
