National team arrives in Sofia

Country's main football team made a flight to Sofia, where on February 26 it will have an international friendly match against Bulgaria.

After the match against Uzbekistan, Sergey Politevich, Yuri Kendysh, Sergey Matveychik, Igor Burko, Denis Laptev and Alexander Pavlovets left the team for Minsk.

This afternoon, the Embraer E 175 of Belavia Airlines flew out from Dubai and traveled through Cairo and Antalya to Sofia. In Turkey, Stanislav Dragun, Igor Stasevich, Pavel Nekhaychik and slightly injured Ivan Bakhar left the board. At the same time, Maxim Skavysh, Yevgeny Yablonsky, Vladislav Klimovich, Evgeny Shevchenko, Kirill Pechenin, Roman Yuzepchuk and Nikita Stepanov joined country's main team. After the flight along the route Antalya - Sofia and having completionof  all the procedures for visa control, the "White-winged" headed to the place of residence.

In the capital of Bulgaria, the National Team of Belarus stayed at the Marinela Hotel, located in the city. At the hotel, the team was joined by Alexander Poznyak and Roman Vegery, who arrived from Minsk. Previously called Vsevolod Sadovsky received an injury in the club and will not take part in the upcoming match.

Thus, 17 players are preparing for the second of two planned friendly matches:

Goalkeepers: Pavel Pavlyuchenko (Dynamo Brest), Yegor Hatkevich (Isloch, Minsk region).

Defenders: Kirill Pechenin (Dynamo Brest), Maxim Shvetsov (Dynamo Minsk), Sergey Karpovich (Isloch, Minsk region), Alexander Poznyak (Gorodeya), Nikita Stepanov (Torpedo-BelAZ, Zhodino).

Midfielders: Nikita Korzun (Vilafrankenese, Portugal), Evgeny Shevchenko, Roman Yuzepchuk (all - Dynamo Brest), Evgeni Yablonsky (BATE, Borisov), Vladislav Klimovich (Dynamo Minsk), Dmitry Podstrelov (Shakhtar, Salihorsk), Sergey Volkov (Vitebsk), Roman Vegerya (Neman, Grodno).

Forwards: Maxim Skavysh (BATE, Borisov), Vitaly Lisakovich (Shakhtar, Salihorsk).

Tomorrow evening, our team will hold a pre-match training at the Vasil Levski stadium, and on February 26 at 17:00 local time there will be a friendly match against the national team of Bulgaria.
