Mikhail Markhel: “I think it was a good game”

Head coach of Belarus national team summed up the results of a friendly match against Uzbekistan.

- It's very nice to win. We have not won for a long time, so the result was also important to us to some extent, despite the friendly status. First of all, for psychology it was necessary to win. Very happy to win. I think it was a good game.

It seemed that the closer the final whistle was, the better Belarusian team played.

- Well yes. A lot of time has passed. Thats why we needed this sparring - so that guys could feel each other. In this regard, the match was a success for us. And those who came from the bench, and those who played all 90 minutes, made a good job.

What was the primary goal - to win or to work something out?

- You see, at the level of national teams, the result is always at the forefront. Of course, we tried to finish the game with a positive result, and, accordingly, to fulfill those tasks and practices that we intend to apply in Georgia.
