By the middle of half-time, Belarusians went “from words to deeds” and managed to turn one of their first scoring chances into a goal - Stasevich made a gorgeous pass to Nekhaychik, who came close to the goalkeeper, outplayed him and rolled the ball into an empty net. At minute 38, Yuri Kendysh did not realize a real opportunity to increase the score - Suyunov parried a powerful shoot of the Belarusian.
